SeeWell Browser Extension — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

This policy covers the SeeWell browser extension for Chrome. The SeeWell iOS app is covered by a separate policy.

SeeWell is private by default. It does not collect, store on any server, sell, share, or transmit your personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking.

What the extension processes locally

To time your break reminders, SeeWell processes the following entirely on your own computer, using Chrome's built-in extension APIs:

This information stays on your device, is used solely to operate the break reminder feature, and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Notifications

SeeWell uses desktop notifications (chrome.notifications) only to show break reminders. No notification content is transmitted anywhere.

No network access at all

SeeWell is completely free. There is no trial, no purchase, no subscription and no account — every feature is available from the moment you install it.

The extension requests no host permissions and makes no network requests of any kind. There is no server to talk to, and it uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or remote code. All code is contained in the published package.

What we do not do

Children

SeeWell is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
