This policy covers the SeeWell browser extension for Chrome. The SeeWell iOS app is covered by a separate policy.
SeeWell is private by default. It does not collect, store on any server, sell, share, or transmit your personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking.
To time your break reminders, SeeWell processes the following entirely on your own computer, using Chrome's built-in extension APIs:
chrome.idle) — whether you
are actively using your computer, idle, or locked. This is used only to count
active work time and to schedule reminders. The extension does not read page
content and does not record which websites you visit.chrome.storage)
— your chosen reminder mode, interval, sensitivity and active hours, plus daily
counts of active minutes and breaks taken. This information stays on your device, is used solely to operate the break reminder feature, and is removed when you uninstall the extension.
SeeWell uses desktop notifications (chrome.notifications) only to
show break reminders. No notification content is transmitted anywhere.
SeeWell is completely free. There is no trial, no purchase, no subscription and no account — every feature is available from the moment you install it.
The extension requests no host permissions and makes no network requests of any kind. There is no server to talk to, and it uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or remote code. All code is contained in the published package.
SeeWell is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
