SeeWell is a micro-break app for desk workers. It reminds you to step away from your screen and guides short exercises for your eyes, body and breath.
This policy explains exactly what the app stores, where it is stored, and what leaves your device. In short: your exercise history and health-related details never leave your phone.
The following is stored only in the app's local storage on your iPhone. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else:
Because these are stored locally, they are not restored if you sign in on a second device. Deleting the app removes them.
The only data that leaves your device is what is needed to sign you in. SeeWell uses Firebase Authentication, a service from Google, to manage accounts. Depending on how you sign in, Firebase stores:
That is the complete list. Your exercise data, reminder settings, age and eye prescription are not sent to Firebase or anywhere else.
SeeWell does not connect to Apple Health and does not read or write HealthKit data. The age and eye-prescription fields are optional, are used only to tailor exercise suggestions inside the app, and remain on your device.
Break reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. Delivering them does not involve a server, and we do not send push notifications.
SeeWell is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This deletes your Firebase Authentication record and erases the app's on-device data, including your exercise history and profile details. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Your Firebase Authentication record is kept until you delete your account. On-device data is kept until you delete your account or remove the app. Exercise history older than one year is discarded automatically.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the account information we hold. Account deletion is available directly in the app; for anything else, contact us at the address below.
Google provides Firebase Authentication on our behalf. Their handling of that data is described in the Firebase privacy documentation and Google's privacy policy.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
